I am not a waffle lover, but my husband is, and so I bought him this one because it looked like it would be better at evening out the batter (because of its ability to flip). Not only was it better than our old Hamilton Beach, it far surpassed our expectations. Solidly built, it cooks waffles to a golden perfection, and right to the edge of the grill. An added benefit is the small amount of storage space it takes and the ease in cleaning. Just wipe it off and you’re ready to put it away. I highly recommend this appliance. It’s perfect for any single, or your waffle loving college student.
I love this product. I got it at a great price compared to what I’ve seen in Kohl’s, Bed, Bath and Beyond or Williams and Sonoma. I looked at all brands and all price ranges and I noticed spending more on a waffle maker doesn’t get you a better product. Also, some of the stores had more expensive waffle makers that were not Belgian style which is our family favorite. My kids love using the timer and flipping over the waffle to start the process they feel like they are really helping and the timer let’s me know when I have a perfectly crisp waffle.
